Why Move In Mission exists

Moving into the next chapter should feel possible.

Graduation is a major achievement. The costs of turning that achievement into a stable start can be harder to see—and harder to manage.

Our mission

The Move In Mission Project provides essential household, personal, and educational resources to graduating students and individuals transitioning into independent living, helping reduce the financial barriers associated with establishing a safe, stable, and functional living environment.

Our vision

A future where every graduate can begin their next chapter with the basic essentials they need to live, learn, work, and thrive.

Who we serve

Graduating or recently graduated individuals preparing to move into college dormitories, trade or technical schools, a first apartment or home, military barracks, or another independent living environment.

What guides the work

Respectful help, grounded in real needs.

We believe the transition into independent living deserves to be part of how we celebrate educational achievement.

DIGNITYSupport without judgment

Every person’s path and starting point are different.

PRACTICALITYFocus on everyday needs

Useful resources help turn a new space into a place to live and learn.

POSSIBILITYMake room for what’s next

A more stable start can help people give their attention to new goals.
